4月27日 My blog I aint been here for a little while now but a message from a friend got me back here again. I been spending a lot of time on Skype lately and that's keeping me busy and my interest. Today... 27 April I went for a ride upon my trike to Byron Bay then to Bangalow via the rainforest which almost all has disappeared now mostly to development. That gets me heated up about global warming and the changes are all over the planet I wonder if we can get our acts together about reducing fossil fuels, the ice caps being melted, lands are drying up dams are harder to maintain, the Cane toads are getting bigger , mossies bring us Dangy fever or Ross River Viruses nothing about the future looks to good. I do agree that medicine is making new discoveries and treatments of illnesses and I've had a few as well but the worlds getting more and more growth than it can sustain. I recall reading that the children born now will expect a life span of 150 years, imagine been that old eh? My Trike is going pretty well at the moment and should after all the money I've spent on it lately too! Even the cost of fuel is effecting my enjoyment of it once it comes to filling my petrol tanks, I have a overcapacity of 60 Ltrs which should give me a range of about`480 kms which now is costing $1.50 a litre or about $90.00 a tank in my trike. 12月9日 Charity Run Starts with Ulysses Bike ClubWell, I've made it throw another week of my life without any scares, scars or missing any bark at all.

This was fantastic there was 250 Bikes and I guess 5 Trikes, I rode my Trike behind Santa on a trike who was following a Police Escort (thanks Cops) and another 250 bikes or more following us, I guess we were about 3km long of bikes riding through a few towns along the way. It has been a while since I have been on a run with so many bikes and Trikes.
There was some nice bikes lots of Harley's and other bikes I have taken a strong interest in the Triumph Rocket 3, I even saw one that had a Turbo on it! And really liked what I saw.
They're bikes of all design and color and breed and with sidecars upon a few, I guess every make of bike was there, I was very happy to be leading so many bikes on a fundraiser.behind santa I even made some new contacts with a few trike's. All out we had a great day, I even saw a flash of my Trike on the NBN news last night for about 2 seconds.
Otherwise a normal weekend and a new week ahead. 12月5日 Charity RunI am really excited at another Toy Run 8th December I am taking the Trick... sfter spending a few days polishing and making it look good, I will be meeting up with a few Trikes and heaps of bikes for this years Christmas fun run. It is not strange for as many as a few hundred bikes and a few trikes at these. Most every year I can I go on one of these. A year or two ago I was a Santa at the Brisbane Family Court in a Santas Protest about the bmany men Aienated from their father @ Christams. There was about 30 Santa's with bags of gifts for a charity. On that day I was in a wheelchair dressed in my Santa get-up, what a good day we had.
A year earlier we rode in Coffs Harbour run and then a Foster Run, We were on my Harley then but now I only ride my Trike except when an offer comes along to ride somebody's bike or to test a new bike, but as my injuries slow me down so must I.

Ill most likely up at 8am and hit the school in Mullumbimby to vote, it's been a week of politics on the radio, TV and my post addie has had a heap of vote for me stuff. The important things to me are global warming, rising seas, drought, and the enviroment. I'll be voting Greens because of those reasons and the candidate for the Greens is a friend and fellow Toastmaster Giovanni Ebono whom I have known about 4 years now I guess. I am also now a ACB Advanced Communicator Bronze after completing another 2 manuals or 10 more speeches, running discussion groups and undertaking Leadership management. 10月30日 My ride to my TrikeHappy happy pleased... My Trike has had a lot of major works; oil leaks, clutch, head, frame work and more "just teething troubles" I hear others say.
The thing I'm looking forward to is getting out for a ride this weekend, up to see my Cousin Tracey in Kingscliff.
Tracy and my auntie Val came down for a visit and I took Tracey out for a ride "she loved it" I heard her say. Auntie Val took some pics and sent then to my mum and dad, my dad's a bike rider as well, but I think he's got a scooter now in his 70's he started riding bikes in the 1940's. I was SMSed by him, saying he likes the trike and mum does too! I never thought I hear those words after all bikes had put her through
I think it makes them happy to see three wheels under my after seeing me fall from two a few times over the years... I had my first bike in 1973 and racing them for a year and by 1976 I'd come off a lot by then when on the way to work I was a total bad smashed up a young bloke in a really bad way but by 1979 I was out of hospital following a total of 22 months hospital and Rehab because I had a serious Head Injury and in a coma for almost 6 weeks, I could not talk, walk, communicate or do hardly anything without supervision after all attempts to relocate me failed and released by work. Next I brought another bike, then another followed by a few more, I love them even after having hurt myself so server as I had I guess it was fate I'd end up on a trike... It's great no falling off, well yet.
It is not like riding a bike when it comes to handling because you must steer a trike around corners and bends where on a bike you lean around corners... more about that later. 10月4日 WIND IN MY HAIRWow my new trike is soooo good, I have discovered that the more wind I get in my face and my hair, the more it washes my troubles away. I feel the best I've been in years. Shes a 1600 VW motor on a VW drive with Spriner faulks and King Qeen Seat, powers for heaps... wow it's nice to put in the wind and blow away all my worries, like I've had. 10月1日 my pixWow, mum and dad saent me some of my baby photos so i added the to myspace for all to see.
The rain is falling it's so good to hear the rain because I no its filling my new watertank and it is much beter to save all the water we can, it upsets me that everyone isn't saving the rain water rather than let it run into the gutters then to the sea. It is about time the climate change is an issue for us all. Anyway I'm away again back soon. 9月30日 What NOWWell, another week has past I've seen both my doctors... En-dep helps with sleep and depression, Trammel 200ml pain killers and helps me sleep really well. Pain is a pain! I now have a better treatment for my pain and depression by Buying a Trike.
I need to get theToastmasters things together for Wednesday 22nd and carry out both jobs of Public Relations as well as Education as Charles whos job is Vice President of Education is in the USA traveling I bet not alone, so I'm doing that job while Charles is away... in USA please come back Charles, (I hope he reads my blogs, so if you can hear me Charles ... We miss you.
Might be going to Queensland on the weekend my mate Mick wants me to come up to visit, mick is a biker mate who has done heaps of time in jail the poor bugger has also lost a leg in aa driving accident which keeps him outa trouble a bit. Anyway we have always got on great and the first time I met him was when I rode my Harley up to visit my property we got on great from the start. Mick looks like a hardened biker with a long beard and tatts all over him even his face is tatooed and he has the big strong voice to go with it, Mick like everyone needs a hand and I feel a lot of people don't bother him or approach him... he is mad as hell about loosing his leg and mobility.
I also have to stop and see Tob and Joy-Marrie at Toogoolawah who have become great friends after saving our souls or butt however you see it because; my car engine blew up about 20km from Toogolawah and we got a tow there when going upto the property early in the year... So where would you go when in such a situation the pub, where we meet Tob and Joy-Marie who took Alision and I over to their place to stay over-night, otherwise I HAVE TO SLEEP IN THE CAR or a hotel and that wouldn't help the liver much anyway, so we have since become great friends they sometimes come down to here in Mullumbimby and go there to Toogoolawah. It's about 50 km short of Benarkin where my property is and again that is where I met Mick mentioned in my last pharagraph. He rang me last week saying; "next time you are up you stay at my place... I was told you have sleeped out, no more you are stsaying here." He commands.
I guess that's where we will stay as my property has a tenant so we don't stay there... although I expect my tenant Theresa wouldn't mind if we asked I guess.
Anyway I'm gone for a cuppa then bed. Check out my trike

Rolls Royce, Cars 8月9日 After an accidentAbout my condition.In a catastrophic type accident I was injured most critically in 1976 while traveling to work upon my motorcycle (a 1967 XS1A Yammaha) know as the 'shaker' because of its terrible handling problem of getting tank slap at hi speeds.The accident has left my with smong others a mobility disbilities snd those of a brain injury for more than 30 years now.I suffer depression because of these and currently taking medication know as EnDep it is for depression and I'm taking 50mg Tablets they seem to take the edge off things, helps me sleep deeper and a balance on things. However getting to sleep still proves difficult.I also take 200mg Tramel for my pain both in my foot from where one toe is gone and three others had been fussed stiff. My neck was fussed I also fussed at C3-C4 and I was paralised on the Left hand side of my body from and Aquired Brain Injury and low Brain Stem Injury and later lost use of my right side from my neck injury. Luck has it I have gained much, no all use back in my arms and legs not so much. My wrist was bausted up and set wrongly however I can use it.7月27日 FridayWell friday night has arrived nothing much has happen today and my computer has been making thing arduous as well.
I went to Pathology for a blood test `Diabetes annnual screen: U-Albumin (timed overnight E/LFT Hba1c and HDL (Fasting 8-12 hours and urine so I'll do it Sunday night. Dosen't that sound fun! I must have had about 150 blood test over the last 10 years.
Jot Marree and Tobby SMSed me tonight to see if we wanted to spend the night "Partying" but I declined, as first it would take them 3-4 hours to drive down, so by the time they get hear everybody will be heading home... or to the Byron Nightclubs. I have been told by my Drs that I should not drink alcohole and that is a big challenge but I must stay strong so not to drink before my procedure 1/8/07 and bloods on Monday 30/6/07.
Tuesday for a colonoscopy at Lismore base Hospital another thing I must fast for as well as dring many glasses of yuk tasting stuff to clean the bowels and colon. I am anxious about what they may find... they have been looking for years as to what makes me tick and they have found lots of reasons for my illness but few answers.
7月26日 New Doctor 2dayI attend a new local doctor today Dr Rao, he was talked about starting a new medical care plan with me, I guess it may be necessary considering the number of complicated condition which are circumambient of me.
Monday 1st, August 2007, I go to Lismore Base Hospital for a Colonoscopy, an investigative procedure of the bowel colon.
I am a little worried because this might turn out to be another thing on top of my other conditions like, Recieving Diabetes, Tainted blood transfusion/products and Liver damage, spleen removed, neck fused, wrist broken, loss of a toe and part of left foot, acquired head injuries with cognitive problem regrowth cyst in my head, removed about 2 years ago it's not dangerous just annoying and that only touches my mental state...
But, as I explained to the Doctor I just keep keeping on with a positive happy attitude. 7月25日 NEXT MeetingNext Meeting is 245

 This morning when as I went into Mullumbimby I saw a big group of people at the Byron Shire Council Chambers and notice what I thought was, a mob of people attending a Council meeting, maybe, I thought. It is not unusual to see such a scene there when I saw a number of trucks and camera's and many more than a usual mob, so I thought I might travel that way and crossed the street when I guess about 50 or more people started wandering out of the Council Chambers and started to cross the rainline at the crossing. I as I was upon my mobility scooter I waited to cross from the side they came, so I moved into a location so not hamper the access. Quite a lot of people where coming across 50-60 and headed towards a number of trucks when one nice girl/lady came towards with a big friendly smile I asked; what is going on? She answered; we are doing some filming for the new TV ABC Show East of Everywhere, (EoE), I knew that they had been making this series in Byron Bay.
On my way back I past two guys sitting on boxes and eating luch I guess to whom I spoke, 'making movies', they told me that they where working on the Show (EoE). 7月18日 My communication roundtableThis is the start of my cyber world where I build trust and relationships.
